Information we collect
Information you give us
- When you fill in our contact form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, organization and your message.
- When you book a call through our scheduling link: your name, email address and the time you choose.
- When you email or call us: whatever you choose to include.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, cookies and similar tools record the pages you view, how long you stay, where you click and scroll, the site or ad that brought you here, your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.
We don’t sell anything on this website, take payments or offer user accounts.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, plan a call and prepare a proposal.
- To send you follow-up emails or news about CTC. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To see how people use the site so we can improve it.
- To find out whether our ads bring us inquiries.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal requirements.
Cookies and the tools we use
Microsoft Clarity collects this data with first- and third-party cookies and similar technology. To learn how Microsoft collects and uses data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We also advertise on Facebook and Instagram, but Meta’s tracking tools are not on this website.
Some of these tools can recognize your browser on other websites too. Our site doesn’t respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works without them. You can also turn off personalized Google ads at myadcenter.google.com and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with the companies that run the tools above, our website host and our email provider, so they can provide their services to us;
- when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others;
- if CTC’s business is sold or merged, in which case the information would pass to the new owner under this policy.
Our advertising tools use cookie information to measure our ads. California law may call this “sharing” for advertising. To opt out, block third-party cookies in your browser, turn off ad personalization in Google’s My Ad Center, or contact us.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we work together and for as long as we need business records after that. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the period set in each tool, then deleted.
How we protect it
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and what you send us is seen only by CTC staff and the providers that help us run the site and our email. No website is completely secure, so please don’t send payment details or other sensitive information through the form or by email.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop sending you marketing emails.
California residents
You also have the right to know what we collect and why, to ask us to delete or correct it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t sell it; see section 04 for sharing), and not to be treated differently for using these rights. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code 1798.83), you can ask whether we share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing. We don’t.
To make a request, email team@ctcconferences.com or call 562-980-7566. We’ll confirm your identity before acting on it and reply within 45 days.
Children
This site is for businesses and organizations. It isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to other websites, such as client event sites, venues and social media. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
